Our Story
Buzzin Bus Media (formerly Trixter Entertainment GmbH) is a Munich based production company focussing on animated production. After being head producer for season 3 of TV series “Lilly the Witch” several projects are developed and in different stages of development. It is currently partner for the production of the CG animation movie “SuperBernard”, a Spanish-Indian-German co-production.
As a consultant and a business partner Buzzin Bus Media is funding 2D and CGI animation projects via local financing and international studio services. The company offers a reliable service partnership with excellent communication on high quality level.
Behind the Screen
Tilo Seiffert – Co-Founder & Managing Partner
Tilo is an international film & media finance expert and producer. He began his professional career with German HYPO BANK in New York, Berlin and Munich in the loan and media financing departments. He then consulted for various media companies in corporate structuring as well as project financing. Parallel he provided expert evaluations for rating agency, F@S FINANCIAL SERVICES LTD, Munich and held lectures at Berlin based Deutsche Film und Fernseh Akademie Berlin and Austrian Highschool for Applied Science, Salzburg. Furthermore, he consulted and later became CEO of Munich based Film & Entertainment VIP Mediafund, investing a total of some €710m in some 46 international co-productions. Parallel, in 2001 he co-founded the animation production outfit Trixter Productions and got involved in animation productions such as 52 episodes of internationally successful brand“Lilly the Witch” and animated feature film “Dragon Hunters” (2008). In 2006, Tilo founded and became CEO at Munich based film financier Cinemendo GmbH to co-produce films such as Julie Delpy’s “Two Days in Paris” (2007), Sinan Akkus’ “Evet – I Do”, animated TV series “School for Vampires” (2nd season, 2007), “Jane’s Journey” (2008), animated feature “The Seventh Dwarf” (2014) and “Timm Thaler” (2017).
Joris Eckelkamp – Managing Partner
Joris is an accomplished TV and Film Producer, Business Developer and Consultant with more than 20 years of international experience.
Joris started his career in Switzerland as Production Manager of the video production „Chronicles of the 20th Century“ for the German multinational conglomerate BERTELSMANN. The ten hours documentary series was a worldwide success for Bertelsmann being dubbed in multiple languages.
For worldwide distributor PEPPERMINT Joris represented the North and South American market as Sales Manager.
In 2003 he started his own boutique worldwide distribution company, OHM:TV, where he is still owner and CEO. Ohm:tv was a pioneer in distribution of short content, mainly animation. Parallel the company placed international TV formats like reality, game and cooking shows, and as worldwide distributor the company sold Trixter’s animation series “Lilly the Witch” to more than 35 countries.
Since 2014 Joris’ focus is on being a ‘matchmaker’ and co-producer for clients and partners in search of financing for their projects. One of the major clients is Indian animation studio COSMOS MAYA. Joris consults as an expert to grow business from national to international success.
